Our Board of Education is responsible for maintaining the highest educational standard in the bartending industry. With over 80,000 students and over 25 schools worldwide, the board makes sure all educational materials are up to date and in line with the latest trends and developments in the hospitality sector. The Board of Education is unique to European Bartender School and guarantees a relevant curriculum for both employers and students of our courses.
Giacomo Giannotti
Giacomo Giannotti is the owner of Paradiso bar in Barcelona, voted ‘Best Bar in the World’ in 2022 by 650 drinks experts. He is a trailblazer in the industry, with an impressive collection of awards including winner of the 2014’s World Class competition and ‘Best Barman in Spain’ in 2017.
Charlotte Voisey
Charlotte Voisey is global head of ambassadors at William Grant & Sons. She has worked as a bartender and bar manager in various global destinations and has won multiple awards throughout her career. Charlotte’s mixology knowledge is respected worldwide, especially when it comes to gin, and she has even collaborated with celebrity chefs for well-known TV programmes like The Next Iron Chef America.
Ian Burrell
A global ambassador for the rum category, Ian Burrell is one of the 10 most influential persons in the world drinks industry. He has travelled the continents (including Antarctica!), disseminating his top-tier spirits knowledge, and is a rum festival pioneer – inspiring the creation of similar celebrations worldwide. Gavin Wrigley
Head of the European Bartender School education department, Gavin has over 10 years of experience working as the manager in leading bars, nightclubs and cocktail catering across the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Asia. He has been passing on his wealth of knowledge and expertise to students for more than six years.
Tom Dyer
Tom is a world champion and has ranked top five in the last seven years. He has won over 50 international competitions in 35 different countries around the world, visited talk shows in ten different countries, organized the world’s largest flair competition and so far trained over 1,000 bartenders.
Björn Kjellberg
Björn Kjellberg is a world famous Tequila master and two-times winner of “Best Bar in Sweden” with the bar he manages, “Little Quarter” (Bartenders’ choice awards). His knowledge of Tequila’s history is unchallenged by many and is always apparent in his work today.
Ludovic Ducrocq
A true whisky expert and enthusiast, French-born Ludo is the longest-serving member of William Grant & Sons’ ambassador team. Today he is the global head of ambassador advocacy. Having travelled to over 50 countries, his outstanding dedication to Scotch whisky was recognised in 2012 when he was inducted as a Keeper of the Quaich.
